 Green Ducks Plant Syndicate is an entity centralized around houseplants and design items.

David Sukhai - the Toronto native - David migrated to Florida when he was 18 years old with his family. He went to UCF where his passion for plants and design only grew. He worked on genetically modifying plants to express human proteins. He became a lead grower and his plants featured in local news. He turned down a PhD offer in California to go to medical school. Now, as a local board-certified internal medicine doctor, he returns to the plant community to flood the world with plants. 

Alex Hill - born in Germany and and raised in St. Petersburg Florida. Alex had a flourishing career in basketball, playing locally, then college, eventually taking him to play internationally in several countries. His journey would eventually take him to New York where he would grow into the fashion industry - working for firms like PSNY, Kith, Round Two. After leaving a mark in that industry, Alex branched into florals and biophilic design. Alex designed and maintained plants and florals in several key businesses throughout New York and Miami including Etsy Hq, Uber Hq, Shopify, Spotify Hq, etc. Alex spent several years in New York learning under iconic florists before heading to Florida where he would continue to work in biophilic design. While in Florida Alex met David and they teamed up to create what we now know as Green Ducks Plant Syndicate. 

While the two have had a deep passion for sneaker culture they have a budding passion for the plant industry as well. With the knowledge they possess in both industries the two have managed to create a very unique company that focuses on both tastefully. They believe that the two industries connect in more ways than one which creates a very special synergy. With David’s “by any means necessary” mindset towards business and Alex’s creative direction the two will continue to flourish.
